When Flowers Bloom
Photo Haiku Series (Part Six--Mixed Bouquet)
fine ivory flowers
cling to stems in starry clumps
snowflakes in July
silky paper hearts
lipstick-pink, perfume-scented
love notes unfolding
golden flower-chain
rings her fiery pink crown,
fuschia skirt twirling
magenta petals
dipped in egg-shell white, dripping
paint flecks all around
in a nest of grass
yellow roses break open
like soft, downy chicks
delicate petals
light ruffled edges vibrate
with the hum of bees
Thank you for reading my flower haiku.
Do you have a favorite? I’d love to know which poem and photo you liked the best.
